The Hotel Russ was built just 15 years ago, but it already boasts an impressive history. The hotel’s guests have included presidents, prominent politicians, stars of the stage and screen, famous musicians, and other public figures.
Located in a leafy park on a high cliff overlooking the Baltic Sea, the Russ is considered one of the cosiest spots on the coast. It is just a five minute walk from the centre of the resort and the promenade, where holidaymakers can be found taking a stroll. A few metres away, steps lead down to a well-maintained, sandy beach.
In 2011, the hotel was updated and renovated. It is now a modern European hotel, open to guests all year round. The hotel has 42 spacious and comfortable rooms of various types. It is best to book well in advance, especially during the high season. The restaurant and lobby bar are open to the general public as well as hotel guests. Many residents of Kaliningrad come to Svetlogorsk to enjoy dinner on the terrace with good company and a glass of fine wine from our cellar, or for a relaxing weekend stay in the hotel.
